How are stock changes recorded?
Inventory quantities are recorded through StockLedger’s append-only movement ledger and may change after sales, returns, receipts, or approved adjustments.
How do location transfers work?
Stock transfers require paired movements between active locations. Transfers are recorded together and identified by a shared transfer reference.
When are sales recorded?
Completed WooCommerce orders automatically record sale movements against the configured default location for each applicable product or variation.
Can stock become negative?
The system prevents movements that would create negative stock. Authorized users remain responsible for accurate receipts, returns, and adjustments.
Does StockLedger duplicate product data?
StockLedger tracks WooCommerce products and variations but does not duplicate product information or replace WooCommerce’s product records.
